API Lifecycle, Part 2: Monitor and Deploy an API

Join us for a one-hour, intermediate-level Postman learning session geared specifically for API developers and anyone else invested in producing quality APIs. Now that you have a well-defined and designed API from the 'API Lifecycle, Part I: Build and Test an API' session, part 2 walks you through the next steps of the API lifecycle: monitoring and deploying an API.
Here's what we'll do in this session:
- Review the stages of the API lifecycle
- Establish a process for deploying to multiple environments
- Track deployments to your connected API Gateway
- Use Newman in your CI/CD integrations
- Schedule tests using Monitors and integrations
- Review monitor run results through integrations
Prerequisites:
- Create a Postman account, and then sign in.
- Download and install the Postman desktop agent, which will enable you to use the web version of Postman that we use in Postman Intergalactic sessions.
- General familiarity with the OpenAPI Specification.
